Primary Program

Primary Course is best for children between seven to thirteen years old.

Primary Course Overview Split into two progressive stages – basic and advanced – this course is designed to build a stronger foundation for the application of mental arithmetic and abacus calculation. Synchronized use of two hands in manipulating the abacus, complex number concepts, and new methodologies are practiced and introduced in this course. Primary Course Objectives At the end of the basic level course, children are expected to apply formulas using the abacus. At the end of the advanced level course, children are expected to perform mental calculations without the abacus – that is using a virtual abacus.
