The Internet is everywhere. It is part of our everyday lives. Years ago, if everyone was tuned into the radio or hooked to a landline, now the Internet has taken over. It is not really something that one can avoid but it is ideally approached with caution and handled with responsibility, especially as parents.

You may have seen the rise in campaigning for breastfeeding for infants. What is the fuss all about? Why the push for it?

Back in 2007, a nongovernmental organization called Dynamic Teen Company, launched pushcart classrooms on the streets of Cavite. Five years after, the Department of Education (DepEd), partnered with 2009 CNN’s Person Of The Year awardee, Efren Penaflorida to implement the pushcart classroom model on a bigger scale. It is now being implemented to help children on the streets get an education.

We know some kids who have had it. We probably had it – the case of imaginary friends.
